1) Tis a sweet and glorious tho’t
that comes to me, I’ll live on, Yes, I’ll live on; Jesus saved my soul from
death and now I’m free.
3) When the world’s on fire and darkness veils the sun,
I’ll live on, Yes, I’ll live on; Men will cry
and to the rocks and mountains run.
Yes, I’ll live on; thru eternal
ages singing home,
Sweet home.
I’ll live on, yes I’ll live on
Through eternity I’ll live on
I’ll live on, yes I’ll live on
Through eternity I’ll live on.
ATC. 2 I AM THINE O LORD
And it told Thy Love to me;
But I long to rise, in the arms
of faith,
And be closer drawn to Thee.
By the power of Grace divine;
Let my soul look up with a steadfast hope,
And my will be lost in Thine.
That before Thy throne I spend;
When I kneel in prayer, and with
Thee, my God,
I commune as friend with friend.
Till I cross the Narrow sea;
There are heights of joy that I
may not reach,
Till I rest in peace with Thee.
To the cross where Thou hast died,
Draw me nearer, nearer, nearer, blessed Lord,
To Thy precious, bleeding side.
And low in the Pit where my sins
drag’d me down;
I cried to the Lord from the deep miry clay,
Who tenderly brought me out to
golden day.
My steps were established and here I will
abide;
No danger of falling while here I remain,
But stand by His grace until the
crown I gain.
But day and by Nights its sweet notes I will
raise;
My hearts over flowing, I’m Happy
and free,
I will praise my Redeemer, who
has rescued me.
I’ll praise Him till All men His
goodness shall see;
I’ll sing of salvation at Home and abroad,
Till many shall hear the truth and trust in
God.
He set my feet on the Rock to stay,
He puts a song in my soul today,
A song of praise, Hallelujah!
ATC. 4 THE GLORY -LAND WAY
I’m in the glory land Way;
Telling the world that Jesus
saves today, yes
Get in the glory land way;
Wanderers, come, O hasten to
obey, for
I’m in the glory land way;
Soon I shall see Him in that home
above, O
I’m in the glory land way,
I’m in the glory land way
Heaven is nearer and the way
growth clearer,
For I’m in the glory way.
All the Ways that God will lead us to the
blessed Promised Land;
But He will Guide us with His
eyes, and we follow till we die, We will understand it better by and by.
Want of Shelter and of food,
thirsty hills and barren land;
But we are Trusting in the Lord,
and according to His word, We will understand it Better by and by.
And our Hearts are made to bleed
for each thoughtless word or deed;
And we Wonder why the test, when we try to do
our best,
But we will understand it better
by and by
God are gathering home, we will tell the story how we overcome, We will understand it better by and by.
ATC. 6 STANDING ON THE PROMISES
Through
eternally Ages let His praises ring,
Glory
in the highest, I will shout and sing,
Standing
on the promises of God.
When
the howling Storms of doubt and fear assail,
By the living Word of God I shall prevail,
Standing
on the promises of God.
Perfect, present Cleansing in the blood for
me;
Standing in the liberty Where Christ makes
free.
Standing
on the promises of God.
Bound
to Him Eternally by love’s strong cord,
Overcoming daily with the Spirit’s sword.
Standing
on the promises of God.
Listening
every Moment to the Spirit’s call,
Resting
in my Saviour, as my all in all,
Standing
on the promises of God.
Standing, Standing,
Standing on the promises of God, my Saviour,
Standing, standing,
I’m standing on the promises of God.
ATC. 7 THE LILY
OF THE VALLEY
He’s the Fairness of ten thousand
to my soul;
The lily of the Valley, in Him alone I see,
All I need to cleanse and make me fully whole
In sorrow He’s my comfort, in
trouble He’s my stay,
He tells me every care on Him to
roll,
He is the lily of the valley, the
bright and morning star,
He is the fairest of ten thousand
to my soul.
In temptation He’s my strong and
mighty tower
I have all for Him forsaken, and all my idols
torn
From my heart, and now He keeps
me by His power
Though’ all the world forsake me,
and Satan tempt me sore,
Through Jesus I shall safely
reach the goal,
He is the lily of the valley, the
bright and morning star,
He is the fairest of ten thousand
to my soul.
While I Live by faith and do His blessed will;
A wall of fire about me, I have nothing now to
fear,
With His manna He my hungry soul
shall fill,
Then sweeping up to glory to see
His blessed face,
Where rivers of delight shall
ever roll,
He is the lily of the valley, the
bright and morning star,
He is the fairest of ten thousand to my soul.
ATC. 8 TELL ME
THE STORY OF JESUS
1) Tell me the
story of Jesus; Write on my heart every word;
Tell me the story most precious,
Sweetest that ever was heard,
Tell how the angels in chorus,
Sang as they welcomed His birth,
Glory to God in the highest!
Peace and good tidings to earth.
How for our sins He was tempted,
yet was triumphant at last,
Tell of the years of His labor,
Tell of the sorrow He bore.
He was despised and afflicted,
Homeless, rejected and poor.
Tell of the grave where they laid
Him, Tell how He liveth again,
Love in that story so tender,
clearer than ever I see.
Stay, let me weep while you
whisper, Love paid the ransom for me
Leading straight to the Land above;
Giving cheer everywhere, to the
sad and the lone,
Fill my way everyday with love.
Let me never in Darkness roves;
Keep my path free from wrath and my soul
satisfied,
Fill my way everyday with love.
But abide in my Home above;
Let me sing, blessed King, all
the way to the shore.
Fill my way everyday with love.
As I walk with the heavenly Dove;
Let me go all the while,
With a song and a smile,
Fill my way everyday with love.
ATC. 1O WHEN WE ALL GET TO HEAVEN
Sing His mercy and His grace;
In the mansions, bright and
blessed,
He will prepare for us a place.
Clouds will over spread the sky:
But when traveling days are over,
Not a shadow, not a sigh.
Trusting, serving every day;
Just one glimpse of Him in glory,
Will the toils of life repay?
Soon His beauty we’ll behold;
Soon the pearly gates will open;
We shall tread the streets of
gold.
What a day of rejoicing that will be!
When we all see Jesus
We will sing and shout the victory.
ATC. 11 MY
BURDENS ROLLED AWAY
I had carried them for Years,
night and day;
When I sought the blessed Lord,
and I took Him at His word,
Then at once all my burdens
rolled away.
That I feared would never leave,
night or day;
Jesus showed to me the loss, so I
left them at the cross,
I was glad when my burdens rolled
away.
That had hindered me for Years,
night and day;
As I sought the throne of grace,
just a glimpse of Jesus face,
And I knew that my burdens could
not stay.
There’s a song within my Heart,
night and day;
I am living for my King, and with joy I shout
and sing,
Hallelujah! My burdens rolled
away.
I am happy since my burdens rolled away;
Rolled away, rolled away,
I am happy since my burdens rolled away.
ATC. 12 MY REDEEMER
And His wondrous love to me;
On the cruel cross He suffered,
From the curse to set me free.
How my lost estate to save,
In His boundless love and mercy,
He the ransom freely gave
His triumphant power I will tell,
How the victory He giveth over
sin,
And dead, and hell.
And His heavenly love to me,
He from dead to life hath brot’t
me,
Son of God with Him to be.
With His blood He purchased me,
On the cross He sealed my pardon,
Paid the debt and make me free.
